The Department of culture and sport disposes of five concert halls : the Alhambra, the Casino Theatre, the Grottes Theatre, the Pitoëff Theatre and Victoria Hall.
The Alhambra is now being reopened under AdudA management. The hall is designed mainly for contemporary music concerts and thus complements what the City of Geneva has at its disposal in the way of concerts and events venues.
The venue also welcomes opening and closing ceremonies of film festivals from Geneva. 2 bars / meeting halls is at your disposal (ground floor & second floor).
The overall gauge of the hall is 1100 people (see room plan). It is forbidden to drink or eat inside the venue (see regulations) except when it's 750 people and more.
The Alhambra does not welcome artists in residence. Since its reopening in September 2015, the Alhambra completes the cultural offer of the City of Geneva.
